Legacy Golf Links, designed by Jack Nicklaus II, was selected North Carolina's Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association. Host site for the 2000 U.S.G.A. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, Legacy Golf Links is the only golf club in the Pinehurst area to successfully blend the accessibility of a public course with the amenities of a private club. Legacy is a Jack Nicklaus II Golden Bear Design course whose level of maintenance is worthy of it's Nicklaus heritage.
